Dedicated to Provision of Long Term Stable Running IoT Devices
iStartek has developed a new sample of 4G live GPS tracker products VT900-4G this month. The sample is divided into three different support bands. According to the common 4G GPS frequency bands in different countries, we also divide the 4G best live GPS tracker into three different regional frequency bands.
First, let me introduce what is NB2 and Cat-M1. And in which countries is this band live GPS tracker mainly used?
The following picture clearly shows the use of this band by different countries:
Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) is also known as LTE Cat NB1 is also a Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology that connects existing devices to the Internet using existing mobile networks. Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) has been developed to support the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It is a low-power, narrow-band technology that handles small amounts of bidirectional data transmission in an efficient, secure, and reliable manner.
LTE Cat M1 is a new low-power wide-area cellular (LPWA) technology specifically designed for Internet of Things (IoT) and machine-to-machine (M2M) communications. It has been developed for low to medium data rate applications supporting upload/download data rates below 1 Mbps and can be used in half-duplex or full-duplex mode. LTE CAT M1 operates using existing LTE networks, but unlike NB-IoT, LTE CAT M1 works in the same LTE band as used in cellular applications.
One of its advantages is its ability to switch from one cell site to another, which makes it possible to use the technology in mobile applications; NB-IoT does not allow mobile switching from one cell site to another. Therefore, it can only be used for fixed applications, that is applications within the area covered by a single cell site.
Because LTE Cat M1 technology can coexist with 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks, it has all the security and privacy features of a mobile network.
So in the use of 4G GPS tracker live tracking with GPS live tracking app, Cat-M1 can be used very well. With NB2, It can make car GPS applications guarantee extremely high signals in many different situations.
So when this technology is used on the car live GPS tracker, it can provide 4G Cat-M1 and NB2 support for the vehicle GSM signal, which can cover many countries with 4G requirements. At the same time, after satisfying the stability and speed of GPS data transmission, the price can be kept within the price of the market demand.
